Ayisha is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting clients in mental health, cognitive rehabilitation, chronic pain, and functional capacity evaluation. Her practice integrates neuroscience, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based rehabilitation to help clients rebuild routines, strengthen self-efficacy, and participate more fully in meaningful daily life.
She is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Somatic Trauma Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Rehabilitation. Ayisha works from a compassionate, collaborative lens — recognizing that recovery and function are deeply connected to environment, nervous-system regulation, and personal values.
Her areas of practice include:
• Cognitive and Functional Capacity Assessments (physical, cognitive, and psychosocial)
• Return-to-work and complex injury rehabilitation
• Mental health and neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression)
• Chronic pain and fatigue management
• Perinatal and postpartum mental-health support
Ayisha’s sessions emphasize practical strategies, nervous-system regulation, and sustainable routines that align with each person’s goals and energy. She currently provides services across Alberta (and select western provinces) via secure virtual and community-based care.
